Join our team in one of the following positions:
1. Gym Instructor
The applicant must posses a valid and accredited Gym Instructor Certificate. It is expected from the applicant that he/she would help the guests to improve their health and fitness by leading and organising group and individual exercise programmes.
Person Specification
The key personal attributes of Gym Instructor must have:
* good communication skills, an outgoing and approachable personality
* diplomacy and tact the ability to motivate and enthuse people from a wide range of backgrounds a responsible attitude to health and safety knowledge of nutrition and healthy diet.
Your work could include:
* carrying out fitness assessments, consultations and inductions with guests
* demonstrating routines for our guests to follow
* showing our guests how to use exercise machines and free weights properly
* supervising the guests to make sure that they are exercising safely and effectively
* leading group exercise classes such as circuit training, aerobics or spinning
* designing personal exercise programmes.
* You could work with specialist groups of people, such as older adults, children, people with disabilities or clients referred by doctors.
You may also give advice on healthy eating and lifestyle. In smaller clubs you may carry out routine duties, such as reception, health and safety checks and pool operations.
2. Excursion Guide
The applicant is expected to handle guests to and fro from Arrival Platform to Reception.
It is also expected that the applicant may be asked to help guests in helping them to find different outlets and wide varieties of other guest facilities located on the island.
Typical work activities include:
* communicating engagingly with individual or groups of people;
* offering specialist knowledge of subjects, such as natural history, tourism information in the Maldives.
* To disseminate true and genuine information on Hilton World wide
3. Recreation Centre Supervisor
The applicant is expected to ensure recreation facilities are maintained in order to ensure a safe, clean and appropriate environment for recreation activities to our guests.
Main Activities could include to:
* Ensure that recreation facilities are operated and maintained effectively and safely
* Prepare facility schedules
* Develop preventative maintenance programmes
* Supervise janitorial services
* Ensure facility policy and regulations are adhered to
* Supervise the Recreation Facility Team Members
* Keep updated and genuine records
* Manage contracts associated with the recreation programmes
* Monitor the use of recreation equipment and facilities
