To manage all aspects of the safety, maintenance and repair of the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island property and Mandhoo island, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, consistency with Hilton International Standards (including risk management), and achievement of planned profit,

Specific responsibilities include:

* A degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
* Experience of work in a remote area compulsory. 4/5 years as Assistant Chief Engineer or at least 2 years as Chief Engineer in a similar size property, similar remote location Experience in a senior position with extensive working knowledge of Engineering operations, preferably in the hotel industry
* Up to date knowledge of modern trends and applications in the field of Engineering
* Exposure to budgeting and basic accounting
* Strong leadership skills and previous experience of managing a team

Main Duties;

Keep information of the office where necessary, strictly confidential.

Liaising with travel agents and sea Plane Company on GM flight arrangements.

Receive and monitors all incoming calls to GM’s office promptly and courteously as per resort standards.
